My Practice
Dr. Auble is in private practice in which she performs neuropsychological evaluations to evaluate mental capabilities and psychological disorders. She does independent evaluations in civil cases to determine the effects of neurological problems or psychiatric disorders on an individual's ability to function adequately. Her work is evenly split between plaintiff and defense. She also does evaluations to assess civil competency issues. She has experience in evaluations in criminal cases on many issues. Dr. Auble has worked in her field for over 35 years. Her work is thorough and comprehensive. She has testified in courtrooms and in depositions in hundreds of cases over the course of her career.
Biography
Pamela Auble, Ph.D. is a clinical neuropsychologist with an M.A. from the University of Toronto in 1978, and a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University in 1984. She completed her internship at the Boston VA Medical Center, specializing in clinical neuropsychology. She has been licensed in Tennessee since 1985 and has been board certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology in clinical neuropsychology since 1995. Dr. Auble taught at Vanderbilt for a year from 1984-1985, and was adjunct faculty from 1985-2003 and 2018-2021. She was a Practicing Psychologist Representative on the Tennessee licensing board for psychologists (Board of Examiners in Psychology) from 2009 until 2015. She was Chair of the Licensing Board from 2013-2014. Dr. Auble is currently Director of Professional Affairs and the liaison to the Board of Examiners for the Tennessee Psychological Association.
